Been given paradise and in the prospect of peace of mind (and yet, we kill)
Began to vandalize and sabotage our own kind (ourselves - destroy)
Have fallen from her grace – still falling into arrogance (god is dead - mankind repeats)
No predetermined ways, just burning our inheritance (foolish mistakes again)
We could never have been the rightful heirs to this promised land
We should never have been / never come this far, we don’t understand
The time for repentance is long due, we are condemned
If we do not redeem ourselves willingly, we will not change
We do not tread the path to freedom
For we will burn all our roads to eden

To come into this heritance, we have to prove worthiness
To fall into her grace again, we have to practice abstinence
The time for talking has long passed, we need to follow through
If we do not take action now, we will have nothing left to live up to

this paradise is our creation... To protect ourselves from the fear death instills,
to satiate our beings with pleasure, we created a paradise by and of ourselves.
This city surly is such a paradise. A city designed and built to protect us...
A city for those who run in fear from the outside world, the world of our enemies.
But I will not become the catalyst for this voluntary doom
I refuse to be a part of this all-consuming fume
